I've struggled to find a clear answer to this in my searches of the forum and the web...
Is it possible to put a single speed free wheel on this model of Dura Ace hub (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250500345498&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT#ht_869wt_1110)?
FH-7400 6 speed freehub - threaded for ye-olde style rear gear freewheel.

Yes. If it's threaded for a freewheel then it's not a freehub. A freehub is where the ratcheting mech is built into the hub body, and a splined cassette body made up of splined cogs slides on to the freehub body.
If it's threaded for a freewheel, then you can thread a freewheel on it, whether that freewheel has one cog or 6 cogs.

Thanks.
That much I worked out, but I just wasn't sure about stuff like the threading and if that was compatible with the modern/commonly available single speed freewheels.
