Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Anyone know of such an animal, or is this something I'm going to have custom built?

I'm building a bamboo frame based around this bike (see below) and would like to be able to run a fat tire.
I'll settle for a Surly LHT 26" fork and use a roller brake if I have to, but would prefer to use a disk.

I'll build (or have built) a custom fork for the Mark II, but for the first I want to go with off the shelf parts.

Thanks,

The build is going to be a flip flop hub (hence the want for a front brake) and I have a Hayes disk in the parts bin.

I'm sure you can find them. For instance Nashbar's carbon fork is relatively short, 385, and handles discs, not exactly the vibe of the above bike.
