Bro-in-law lent me his newer Campy Chorus profit pedal to try while his broken femur(ouch) mends. The damn things creak and crackle when I stomp up hils etc. There seems to be alot more float than my Look pedals that I have set at 9 degrees float. The release on the Campys is set at neutral now. I am wondering if cranking down the release spring pressure would relieve any of the creaking and crackling that I think is coming from the cleat moving in the pedal. Anybody else get this ?
