I have not ridden for about 15 years. I am looking to get back into riding. I am wanting to also one day race. Would the Trek 1500t be a good bike for me and could I race it.

The bike you want to get is perfect for getting back into riding and racing. it's not too pricy, and if you keep it maintained it will last you a lifetime. Ofcourse its not about the bike. I ride a Lemond Tourmalet Which is like the twin to this bike and i love it. I have been in numerous races so far and my bike does great. hope this helps.
