I'm planning to upgrade this week and give the Mongoose to my wife. It's a pretty solid bike.
My question to you veterans is this: I really like the Motobecane Elite for $297. But locally I saw on CL a Jamis 150 for $150. It looks decent, but I can't seem to find anything out about it on the interwebz.
Which would be a better buy for commuting?
