.. I finally invested in an adequate lighting system which should enable me to train during the week on even pitch black MUP's.

The generator, very low drag. Barely noticeable even with the light on.

Was that, perchance, you headed north on the Pennsy Greenway near R.O. Drive on Monday the 14th at about 7:40pm? I was headed south and saw only a light moving along the other side of the path, and never saw a rider or bike. Unless it was a silent UFO.
I spotted that light about 5 minutes before passing, and learned a new lesson about depth perception (and the lack thereof) in very dark places, in the conditions that develop shortly after the sun sets.

Nope, that could not have been me. I just got this light beginning of this week and have only ridden on 9/23 at around 10pm to 11pm on the Erie Lakawanna trail. I've actually never ridden on the Pennsy trail. I need to try that one out someday.
