I bought a set of EVO lock-ons and the gripping is almost all worn off.. they are pretty smooth after about a month

before i had stock bontrager grips that were ok but after a year they were moving around when I pulled on the bars and it drove me nuts especially climbing

any recomendations on a quality lock-on where the rubber will last?

are the bontrager lock-ons decent?

I use Oury's. Do you like thin or thick grips?

How much padding do you like? I like ODI's...I prefer thin grips, so I use Ruffians and Yetis, but they also make Rogues if you like thick grips. IMO, the Yetis have a better feel to them, but the Ruffians fit my small hands a little better, so it's a toss up for me. They seem pretty durable...the rubber keeps its tackiness and all. I stripped the bolt on one of the collars, but I'm pretty sure that was just me being stupid. I've also ripped up the sides of their dual-density grips, but no such problem with the lock-on since it was the density that doesn't appear on the lock-on.

Lizard Skins Peaty looks like it might be interesting. I have no experience, but if anyone does, I'd love to hear what you think of them. Another one that I haven't seen in person but would love to hear opinions on is the Sunline grips with the mini-flange. More specifically, their Half-Waffle...how tacky is it, and how does it compare to the Yeti and Ruffian in terms of thickness?

First of all... ODI's are A+++ products.

All of their products last, but the Rogues will start to wear away. BUT once this starts happening, you will have the stickiest most comfortable grip in the world. I'm sure someone here has a picture of well worn Rogues.

I prefer the Oury's but I like a thicker grip. My boss has the Lizard Skin Northshores that i thought were pretty comfortable too, also a larger grip.

not lock-ons, but the esi racer's edge grips are thin, and never move. and quite comfy.
