I took my Trek 7100 bike inf for its first Warranty maintenance yesterday. I should be getting it back Friday or Saturday. My question is: What are they going to do to my bike? :o

They will probably make sure all the bolts are snug, adjust the deraileurs, adjust the brakes, check the wheels, and lube the chain.

Well I thought this was true. I had to go back and redo the front brakes and adjust the shifter cables. :eek: :mad:

If you do it at home then you would not have the opportunity to buy some stuff when you go pick up the bike.
The 'free maintenance' is a way to keep you coming into the shop.
