I just wondered if this would be a good place to post rides that were coming up? Perhaps a sticky where folks could post what they're riding this weekend. Or, is there another forum more appropriate?

I think it probably depends on your ultimate goal for the discussion thread. If you're looking to find other people who may be attending the same ride, you might get a better response rate posting in the applicable regional forum. But if you were looking for thoughts on how others have prepared for a similar event, this forum might get you more responses.
