Hi guys, I'm a long time mountain biker that wants to get into road biking. Funds are a little short right now though. So I've been thinking about getting a used bike. Unfortunatly I can't find a good source for used bikes. The shipping charges on E-bay make it not worth getting a used bike, and craigs list sucks in Cleveland. So I was wondering if anyone here lives in the Cleveland area and knows of any good deals for about a 60 cm frame. That or if anyone knows any other sources for used road bikes. Thanks A lot guys.

When I bought my bike off ebay, the shipping charge was an even $50. I guessed it depends on the price range you are looking at (in my case $1500, so $50 was minimal). You may want to rethink ebay (depending on your price range). Oh, and a hint - I found many more bikes that fit when I searched for "bike 58" and "bicycle 58" (for 58cm) then drudging through everything, or just popping in name brands.

Make sure you can trust the person you are buying from (or are comfortable with risk) if you are buying the bike basically sight unseen. The guy I bought my bike from was great - (he owns a bike shop, and sold this bike on consignment for a customer). His shop is http://www.aroadbike4u.com, and you can see his used bikes at http://www.aroadbike4u.com/used_bikes.

Best of luck,
jeff
