Professional Cycling For the Fans - Rock Racing, What do you think?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I like the team and show my support for them, but I still a lot of nay-sayers out there. Even with the loss of Hamilton and Ball, they have been a good competitive team. Mancebo has been a beast all year and now with Bahati back on the main squad, they are untouchable between him and Freddie Rodriguez in crits and circuit races. They are starting to produce their own bikes and gear so I think that will help them to bring in more cash to help them eventually get a better license and even better riders.
Here is a pic of their new bikes:

Hey, I like 'em too. Nothing wring with a little in-your-face attitude. And I love their graphic designer.
Too bad I'd look so silly in a RR kit...

I'm sure the bikes warranty has as many loop holes as a Rock Racing riders contract.

Who makes the bikes? I'm assuming they are rebranded versions of a bigger OEM.

They rode Kestrel this year. It would be a simple thing for Kestrel to repaint frames for them.
However, their marketing hype claims to use Carbon Nano Array (CAN) technology, which is a BMC buzzword...
Here is an article that goes into further detail about their partnerships and branding. It sounds like the frames are their own design.

I got the picture off of Twitter and it said the bikes were being made by Louis Garneau.

Thanks for the link, it provides more info then the twitter post. I thought that Garneau was making the bikes, but I guess not, it wasn't really clear on who is producing the bikes for them.

I like the bikes.
I didn't realize Freddy was still racing. Good on him! I've always liked him.

Freddie has been doing good, but he's been better since they brought Bahati back to the Pro Squad.

Their kits are really cool (over-priced but cool)
I read their bikes are designed by a former Kestrel/Fuji bike designer. It looks like the components are Rock too...must be painted SRAM stuff or other. Don't they loose out on sponsor money by doing everything themselves? Mancebo has had a good year, but zero guys in the top ten of NRC and 7th in team???

They blew it when they send Cipo packing. He would have been a kick ass DS for them.

FLoyd would be a great fit for RR, as they won't be going to Paris anytime soon. it would be a good way for him to end his career.
