3 spokes with nipples, brand new.
Not sure about the size, but I measured them at just under 10-1/2".

I could probably ship them First Class without insurance for about $1.50ish.

Hey buddy,

If you happen to have a 26" front rim that is v-brake compatible or hand grips, I could use those... My grips melted in the hot florida heat and my wife ran my front rim over on my cannondale super v 1000... :(
I've been debating upgrading to disc brakes so if you have anything that is related to that, I could use those... Pretty much anything that is compatible with my super v I would use.. Unfortunately, fixing my bike isn't in my budget right now. Please let me know! thanks!:)

I have two sets of grip shifts: you paypal me postage from Richmond VA 23229 ($5 should cover priority mail)
both are 9 speed SRAM REAR D only -1:1 ratio
front shifter can use sram or shimano front D no problem

1st set is: SRAM 7.0 shorties - worn but still work fine - Still up for grabs never head back from the guy

2nd set is: some SRAM 9.0 half pipe shifters that I got on super clearance last year they are missing a bit of handlebar shim - I made my own out of a piece of plastic and I will send it along with the shifters - not hard to do at all

I'd like to spread these around so only one set per person please.

both are SRAM rear d only

thanks! Chris

No one may want this but I am offering up the frame/fork to my first real adult bike. Its an 18in Trek 820. I dont know how old it is but it was made when these things still had rigid forks. The only problem is that the bottom bracket retaining ring is stuck. I gave up on it when I started to grind away the teeth.

I got it for free and road it until I had caught the commuter bug bad, and an 18in frame is a little small for me at 6'.

let me know

anyone want these seriously old and used Shimano mountain bike/touring shoes? They do have life left in them, and I was wearing them right up until last week when I got new ones. Hate to throw them out if they'll do for somone wanting a pair of beathers, perhaps something you're not afraid of getting stolen, or for rain rides... whatever. Paypal me $3 and I'll pick up rest of shipping cost. They are a small and narrow size 43. I wear a 10 now (feet grew from 9.5) and can cram my feet in them. My guess is they are a 9-1/2, and with thick sox perhaps a size nine foot could wear them. Sorry SPD no cleats included.

they look dirty, but i ran them through the wash.

cheers

Nice, turn it into something bigger ;)

BTW

Y tu....
May 3rd will see six more bikes given away, and I've learned a lot about adjusting Wal-Mart bike brakes.
Once they stop rubbing, give the bike away. That's an even dozen so far.

People started asking me to come look at the bike in the weeds, etc.
Really, it was in a tangle of vines, and I couldn't get it out.

Another guy decided if I wanted it, it was worth something.

There is a retired Marine in Durham NC who gives away 300 bikes a year.
People bring them to him, he fixes them and gives them away.
He solicits donations to buy the tires and tubes that most of them need.

I'll take a break, and then I'm going to look for 100 tubes and tires to take to him.
If he wants me to mount them for him, I will.

Sheldon is everywhere.

....isn't the Latin "E Tu?"..... I slept in that class.

My turn to give something away...

I have a Fizik seat bag with clip (the clip is missing in action). The dimensions are 5" long x 3.5" wide, and it's never been used.

If you already have this model or similar and is clip compatible (like I saideth, the clip hath disappeareth), this could allow you to replace or use it as a spare.

Let me know where you live, should cost around $5 to ship snailmail (from Canada).

Here's my humble contribution:

1 VERY USED Truvativ isis bottom bracket 68x113, English thread. It is chromoly (not uber high performance or anything). It came off my 2007 Jamis Aurora. The bearings are most surely worn but an adjustment and re-pack might bring this bb back to life, not sure. I would think that it may have a ton of life left if used on the trails, although it specifically states "no downhill riding, touring only".

Will ship priority mail to the lower 48, so $5 to cover that via paypal. Cheers.

- SLiME 26x1.75-2.125 tube

Also putting up a pair of SPD-R pedals. One sided entry, road pedals. Some of the hardware for one of the cleats is missing, that is, an allen bolt, but I'm sure you can pick it up at a hardware store. Would be fine as a second pair of pedals if you already have cleats. Definitely not perfect condition, but they work, and they're free.

I dug around and found a few items collecting dust in closet...I had success the last time I posted some parts on this thread, so here I go again...

A Trek Carbon Fiber Fork - road bike - with 1 inch threaded aluminum steerer, fits a 700c wheel. Has some scratches, wear & tear. Also the rear opening for the brake caliper looks as if it has been reamed open a bit (which is why I never installed it on my ride). Steerer is 6.5 inches long, with about 1.25 inches of thread.

A 27.2 seatpost, aluminum. Post itself is about 8.75 inches in length, with 3.75 inches of length for minimum insertion.

A Rudd Performance Stem, for a 1 inch fork. Has a slight rise, but not much. Or, has a slight drop (if installed upside down) but not much. Total length is about 6.75 inches. From center of fork to center of HB clamp, it's about 5.5 inches.

If you want one, two, or all three of these, just cover the shipping. I'll send it whichever way you are willing to pay for shipment. I accept Paypal.

These parts are just sitting around. It'd be nice if someone could put them to good use.

Cannondale C4 Stem, 31.8, 110mm and I believe it's a 7 deg rise. It the stock stem for the 07 CAAD9. I never took a ride with it as it is too long for me. $5 shipping.

PM if you want it.

Update: This has been claimed.

SR Suntour M6200 Fork. 1 1/8" steer tube, about 190mm long, threaded. 8 years old, but has only about 450 city miles on it. Clearly not the best suspension fork, but works just fine for the good old price of free. I can't imagine shipping would be more than $10. Or if you live in Boston, I can meet you anywhere in between Wellesley and Longwood Medical Area in Boston.
