Hi folks, I'm going to Sedona, AZ area in Dec. for a visit - looking for advice on a good mountain ride and a decent place to rent bikes. How's the riding weather there in December? I imagine it's perfect...

From the little I know about Sedona, I would think it`s going to be pretty chily in December. My one trip there (so far) was in late Oct or early Nov, it seems to me, and it was very nice weather at that time. There`s a great sticky on the "Arizona" section over at mtbr- that`s the place to ask about mountain bike rides if you don`t find out what you need from here. Have a great trip! It`s a wonderful place for riding and hiking.

Sedona is 38 miles south of Flagstaff, AZ, you might think about snow skiing. You can travel south for an hour and get into some great MTB riding.

The NORCO website, Canadians of all things, has a travelling team that just posted reviews of Sedona, Flagstaff, Scottsdale and Sierra Vista. Google Norco and enjoy.
