The things that worry me are the bent fork and handlebars. I have a fork and bars from an old motobecane. Is this worth it?

Considering the size I'd buy this instead: http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/bik/1395581800.html

If your savy it can built inot a complete bike w/ full Shimano 105 for another $150. $210 for a name brand 105 equipted bike in Seattle is a good deal.
