The Raleigh and the Centurion are entry-level, but respectable, bikes. Tuned, clean, and complete they're in the $100-150 range around here. Any rust, missing parts, or required work puts it below $100.

And try taking your pictures from the drive side of the bike. It's hard to get an idea of the components and their condition from the left side.

The Raleigh needs some sorting out before it is in top notch ready to sell condition. The Centurion looks like it is closer to being ready to market.

ya raleigh eeds new bar tape, new tire, and 2 tubes. it was lockd to something and got hit by a car so the clean team cut it off after a while and i got them to give it to me (before they threw it out) so it was free. i herd it could be worth around 250ish esp the componants. the centurion is my daily rider tho its a lil rusty.
how about the other bikes on that page? the roadace and ross?

I have never seen a Raleigh Grand Prix worth $250. I would take it to whoever gave you that figure and sell it to him. If he is not willing to buy it, I would then ask him the following questions:

1. What is your value estimate based on?

2. How many similar bikes have you bought (and sold) in the last year?

There are a lot of people with opinions out there that have absolutely no personal experience with the actual buying or selling of a similar bike. But if this guy buys your bike, then that would be great!

Very few Ross bikes are worth much. Ross made a couple of decent bikes, but 99% of their bikes were discount store/department store quality. Yours is a rusty version of a department store bike, worth about $25 around here.

The Roadace looks like it is a step below the Ross, but a road bike, so maybe worth $40.

Take better pictures from the drive side of the bikes, and you will get more accurate information.

The Raleigh and the Centurion are the best of the lot.

The Elite GT has cantilever brakes, and it's size makes it ideal for a women's touring bike. Cleaned up, it can bring $125-$175, depending on the wheel size and components. A lot of Centurions on that era had Sugino cranksets and Suntour components, nice ones.

Clueless on the Raleigh.

The Raleigh is a Super GRand Prix which means it should have alloy 700C rims and bar end shifters but still has a hi-ten type frame. IMHO, it could bring $150 cleaned up and ride ready, but not the way it looks in the pics. In a hot market, at the beginning of the summer, maybe $180 to someone with a nostalgia kick who wants a nice Raleigh. More than that you'd have to me in a really bike crazy market like NYC.
I'd go with Robbie Tunes estimate on the Centurion, he's the expert there.

ya the raleigh has bar end shifters and i think 700c wheels (well one sence the other got bent up when hit by the car) im thinking of turning it into a fixed/ss w/ strait bars tho. (just noticed the chain ring on the crank looks bent)
