Electronics, Lighting, & Gadgets - Knog Boomer

Has anyone tried one of these (http://www.ebikestop.com/knog_boomer_1_watt_red_led_red_body-LT0663.php) out yet?
I'm looking for a rear light bright enough cars can see me on the streets, and I really like most of the other knog things.

@ 1watt it "should" be brighter than my PBSF..I too like Knog stuff..

Looks interesting, but the mount seems like a PITA that would quickly wear out with daily use.

FWIW the Blackburn Mars 4 also has a 1w led. I use one during the daytime and it's quite noticeable to cars.

got mine today and made a full video review, with comparison to the pbsf.
i've used knogs as supplemental lights for a long time, and i think the quality of this light is way better than their other lights.

it definitely won't wear out quickly, even if you're taking on and off the bike several times a day. the clip it uses is a very durable medium density hard plastic and the shape of the closure makes it stay on easily and come off without damaging anything. they use the type of silicon you'd find in sex toys, and it lasts and lasts unless you take a blade to it or were to literally pull it apart and try specifically to break it. with normal use it will last longer than a PBSF, and i'd put money on that bet.

this thing is AWESOME. I'm very, very happy with it.
