Just heard about the large earthquake that is close enough to Hawaii to cause carnage. Hope it doesn't do much damage.

3 reported dead in American Samoa. A couple of villages leveled as well. Hopefully there are not too many more dead or injured.
the tsunami is due to hit our northen shores about now. They are expecting it to be about a metre high and cause minimal damage here as it is low tide.
