Bike rings like a bell does it ring a bell???

Hi all,
I am new to this so if I'm doing something wrong inform me (not in caps)

I have 2 year old bike with front suspension and a mechanical front disk break
I replaced the front tyre for a new (1.5" slick 80 psi one much harder then before) and now at hi speed (for me 12-25 mph) something rings like a bell, sound like the brake rotor but I can not be sure any Ideas?

Thanks
-Ben

Your rotor is dragging on the pads release the quick release Squeeze and hold the brake lever then tighten the QR. Let go and give it a spin.

Hi,
Tried the solution but it is still ringing it a ringing not a scraping sound that I get
I can recreate the sound by tapping the rotor's edge with a flicked finger
Hope someone had this before because my LBS is helpless

Perhaps your rotor is tweaked slightly. Does the noise happen at the same spot in the rotation every time?
