Found this old Scwinn LeTour III on eBay. My buddy got one when we were kids, (30+ yrs ago), and I've wanted one ever since! Had to be the pearl/flourescent orange. This thing is totally ALL original, tire, seat, handlebar tape, pedals . . . everything! I couldn't believe the shape it was in too!! NOT FOR SALE! Even though I only had to give a Benji for it! What a steal for a hundred bucks! I'm so excited! It rides like new! If anybody knows where I might find original parts for it? I'd like to tear it down and really clean and polish it, but I'd like to have new cables, housing, tape and tires to re-build with. Since it is all original I'd just like to keep it that way. Also, I tried the Schwinn site, but couldn't verify the year. I've been told 77' and 78'? I'd just like to know for sure. Any ideas? I'd post some pics but evidently they're too large a file size. If I can figure out how to change that I'll get some on> Thanks for reading!
