Usually when I take my 2 and 3/4 yo daughter on the Hotwalk (she also have the Honey in my sig), it's on the footpath and I never let her go for more than 5 seconds at a time coz she ends up going too fast and I dont want her to fall.
The other day I took her to the park, all grass, with a gentle downhill and let her go herself. She rode for almost 10 seconds before putting her feet down and then straight back up again for another 7 seconds. She was great!
