After riding it, stem broke. IS there is a chance to install good stem on that ****ty bike?

I think it's more than one year old so i don't think i can return it.
It's beaten pretty badly. SO, there is nothing i can do?

any LBS can sell you a threaded stem for sub $20.

You should be able to get a replacement stem from your local bike shop. It's just an older style; ten years ago all the bikes came like that.

If you bought it at Walmart, im not suprised. But yeah you can get a replacement from almost any bike shop.

I wouldn't bother trying to put a good stem on that boat anchor. I hate to be the bearer of bad news but you got what you paid for. See if they'll take it back. Then get thee to a bike shop (where they sell just bicycles, not bicycles with tampons and deer rifles a few aisles away)

I have a stem for one of those bikes that you could have for the price of shipping, say, $7 to most of the US. Where are you located?

As everyone has mentioned, you get what you pay for.

Look at thrift stores and the like, for the price of that part maybe you could get a whole bike ;-)

Do a little searching on the net for recalls of Next and huffy bikes from walmart. Maybe yours falls into the category and they will send a replacement.
