September's theme was Simplicity (http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?t=580343).

And was our biggest turnout ever!
And I think the best crop of images too.

Allen,

I can only imagine how much work this is to put together and organize. Just wanted to say how much I enjoy the challenge of finding a subject to photograph every month. And I love seeing what everyone else comes up with to illustrate the theme. Thanks for doing this. :thumb:

BTW, when I took my photo (last weekend in Sept), I was wondering if you had walked past that spot. I spoke with a southbounder from GA and his wife there. They had an additional 20 miles planned that day.

If that is on Tybee Island, I've been there

It's near Rausch Gap, a ghost town on the AT. The blaze in the picture is in a part of the trail that was rerouted between 1999 and 2004.

No problem at all. Really good image by the way. How did you light it?

Umm the raindrops picture...natural light. Around 3 or 4 PM in the afternoon EST.

I have no idea...not a photography enthusiast. Just shot the picture with my point and shoot Sony T-100. Figured: "Eh, rain is simple enough" heh.

The picture of the feather was taken about noon, natural light. The feather was floating in a pool.

The November theme is "Converging Lines".
