Here's a plug for my cycling team's annual charity fund raiser to buy bikes for children in need for the holidays.

$75 for the ride (30 or 60 miles) and it includes a post ride Lobster dinner with lots of wine (please don't drink if you're driving!). All proceeds go to buying bikes for the kids & junior cycling programs.

Do you take donated bikes? I mean a nice bike, not junk. I have a barely used Trek MT60 which is very nice quality. I would be happy to donate even though I can't attend the event.

Thanks! Yes, the charity we are raising money for (which is actually trips for kids (http://www.tripsforkids.org/national/donate.htm)) is always in need of kids bikes.
