Hi All,
Great forum; this is my first post.
I have just bought a 04 Switch pro and it's my first experiance setting up the Swinger 4-way rear shock. The shock has the 500 lb spring. I only have two shore rides on it so far as well as some urban adventures. I do max about 4ft drops to flat mixed with some fast DH so I'm trying to keep it as plush as I can without bottoming it on the drops.

Initially I setup the shock as recommended by puttin 50% of my body weight in PSI into the SPV chamber (90 psi) and setting sag to the recommended freeride using the spring preload: nice and plush but I could easily bottom the shock.

Next I ran the pressure to 108 psi (70% body weight) and had to reduce the spring preload to the minamum (1mm) to achieve the same sag: noticably stiffer, still easy to bottom.

I next turned in the SPV chamber volume to the min setting (all the way in), reduced the psi to 80 and spun a bit more spring in to get the recommended sag: I need to get the bike to the shore for a test ride but I dropped it about 2-1/2 feet to flat pavement and it feels alot better along with staying plusher than at the higher pressure.

If anyone has setup tips I'm all ears.

PS I love this bike so far!
