We've all wrecked but I just had a bad one and had to go to the hospital. Thank god my  girlfriend  was there to help me out or I would have been in bad shape. I tried to clear a 6 foot devider that was about a foot tall and didn't bunnyhop early enough. My back tire hit the edge and I flipped off my bike and landed on my right hip and got hit in the head with my bike. I messed up a nerve in my leg and cant ride for a while. I am woried about being scared to ride when I start back up. Any words of wisdom for me. I mostly ride street and park. Thanks guys and gals.

if you're looking to avoid not being able to ride when the time comes, I would just get on it and cruise around once you're healed and let it come back to you. I have nerve damage in my left foot from a similar crash and have had many disabling crashes in the past. All I can say is to not think about how bad you got hurt but what you did wrong.
Should I work my way up or start at the easy stuff. I am sure I can get back most of the stuff I can do no problem but what do you think I should do?
work your way up, it wont take nearly as long as you think to progress again...
I hope to be back up by sunday but that is pushing it a bit. I can ride on the ground now. It's kinda painful though. My girlfriend is really worried about my safety though. Should I get pads and stuff? I know I need to get a helmet but should I go all the way? Also what is best for budget park and street riding as far as protection? Thanks
o man dude that sux, ur makin me think about quitin ridin lol
Try not to worry about crashing to much JRT. The one thing I have noticed is that the only thing that stops me from progressing in this sport is fear .
