I am about to take my bikes on the road using two roof mount thule carriers. I don't want to blow all the grease out of the seals....anybody have a foolproof way of protecting bikes at highway speeds?

Thanks in advance.

Could you explain, please, just how you "blow all the grease out of the seals" from using a roof rack??

At a sustained speed of 75-80 MPH, the wind actually does a pretty good job of getting inside places you don't usually have to worry about. I was being a little too dramatic I guess...but there probably is some way to keep your bike from taking a whupping from that kind of wind.

There are these bike bras on the market to block the wind and save your bearings.

Thanks...I happened to google "bike bra" on a whim and found them...I knew the bearings took a licking

I have been using a roof rack for 20 years and have never blown the grease out of anything.

I think somebody is looking for a reason to buy something he does not really need.
