Anyone got a value? norskagent bought/sold one, I think, as a flip. I was figuring $200-$250 (I'm just not a 105 fan) but the bike is pretty nice.

Level the bars and saddle and play up the Columbus tubing angle and you might get that. I see them listed for $100 - $200 on CL quite often.

The Italian flag color version seems to bring the most ...

Robbie,

In very good condition, ready to go, I get $300-325 for 105 equipted Peugeots on a regualr basis. For reasons I'm not sure of, Peugeots tend to bring very good money in Tampa. Awhile back I had was essentialy a NOS Tempo with 105 that I couldnt sell for $400. After failing ot sell at ~$350 I parted the bike out for ~$600.

I'd the bike in question is worth $250.....minimum.

105 isnt that different from 600/tri-color. Axle cone and BB races appear to be very, very similar. In my opinion 105 and Ultegra/600/tri-colr are closer to each other than 600/ultegra/tri-color is too Dura Ace.

Robbie, I sold a really nice one earlier this year for $265 (1988 model as well). If I was a little more patient, I probably could have gotten $300. But it is really hard around here to break the $300 mark without brifters, unless the bike is collectable/Italian/etc. I wish the bike had been my size, as I would have kept it.

Before the bike left my stable, it did donate its Shimano 600 pedals and Cinelli bars and stem to my Colnago, so it wasn't all bad....

Notice the dorky stem. That stem looked really out of place on the Colnago.

I saw that add, I believe, and thought about sending a pm and seeing about working a deal. I got an older one (85) for my brother in law on ebay for 160ish shipped. I thought that was a good deal for an end user.

Depends where you're at, here in Chi I'd value it at $325-$350 at least. Rebuilt with new tires, cables, bearings, bar tape etc., I would probably find a buyer at $400 without too much trouble, in season.

Folks are saying 100-200. I'd BUY that bike with the intention of rebuilding it for sale for up to $160 in the right condition.
