Hi,
I've got a Schwinn Voyageur 11.8, all chrome complete except for the wheelset, and I'm curious how much it is worth? Its 56cm CTC on the HT and ST, which I'm assuming is 23" by Schwinn sizing standards. I saw that a similar bike sold on EBay for just over $300.

Here's links to hi resolution photos: Schwinn Voyageur 11.8 (http://www.flickr.com/photos/95526590@N00/sets/72157622497303884/)

Any suggestions for a reasonable price?

CL listings for complete bikes seem to run in the $250 - $400 range. Not sure what they actually sell for ...

All chrome: $350 to $375 in clean/spotless, ready to ride condition (with a wheel set). Your frame certainly qualifies for "superclean". I would put a wheelset on that bike if you are trying to sell locally. Local buyers around here are not looking for projects, it would be hard to get that kind of price for the bike without wheels.

Without wheels, $250 on a local sale (unless you are in one of those super hot markets).

I'm in the SF Bay Area, which is a pretty hot area. I'm a little worried that it will get picked up by a fixie rider, and they'll take a grinder to the frame.

The only spare wheelset I have is a fairly nice touring/CX wheelset with XT hubs and almost new Velocity Synergy rims. I'd have to respace the rear to 135mm - which might be too much for an almost 30 year old frame.
