I just purchased a new road bike a few months back, and it came with about 10 more stickers than I like to see on it. Does anyone have suggestions for removing these annoying pieces of advertisment without destroying the paint job on my ride?

I don't know how to remove them, but I bought a Trek 1500 a few months back and had to cover up the ads with electrical tape. I might want to get a different bike and sell the Trek in the next year or two so removing the ads isn't a good idea for me. I was a little worried that the tape would absorb heat, and damage the paint and resale value, but so far it seems ok. There are probably less stucky and colored tapes you can buy, too.

It all depends on if there's clearcoat over the decals or not. If not, they can be removed usually by scraping them off with a plastic putty knife. I completely removed my Surly decals simply by scraping them off. If they're clearcoated over, I think you're out of luck. I've used solvents to disolve decals before but only on my non-painted titanium frames.
