I'm looking to buy my first fixed gear bicycle, and have narrowed my spectrum of choices to either a Bianchi Pista or a Soma Rush track frame built into a rough-and-tumble commuter city bike. My question is about the Soma primarily, but any comments/suggestions are appreciated. I'm looking for a suggestion on where to get a Rush pre-built, as I'd probably mess something up and would like to have it pre-assembled before I tinker. On the other hand, if that isn't possible I'd like some sort of guidance on what to buy to fully outfit the frame and perhaps some reccomendations of good guidebooks or manuals dealing with assembly or whatever would be necessary to built it from the frame up. I'm very excited about riding fixed gear, hope it will help my declining physique. Thanks!
