I pulled off the Shimano Z-Series groupset on my 1986 Univega Maxima Sport. Just curious what it's all worth. They cleaned up quite nice and are in pretty good shape.
Front Derailleur FD-Z202
Rear Derailleur RD-Z501
Brake Calipers BR-Z57
Stem Shifters Z401
Brake Levers BL-Z325
Crank Univega "Custom" Cotterless. 2 speed. 52/42 tooth.
Rear Cassette MF-Z102. 6 speed. 13/15/17/19/21/24 tooth.
Thanks!

Fifty dollars if I needed to complete a frame. An upper-mid level group all in all, the crank 'll have less appeal to some. Even if it wasn't Univega. Those who would want it at all, would to use with an '80s bike. Early '88 the cassette design changed, the fitment.... long story. I could see if somebody would need parts for a bare frame, '86 or older but not as an "up-grade". I'm being generous, having interest in the older less sophisticated stuff.

Thanks, old and new. I understand they're entry-level componants and probably not worth much. But that's why I'm upgrading! ;)
I searched around on eBay, and found the front derailler and brakeset.
Front Derailleur FD-Z202 $15
Brake Calipers BR-Z57 $50

Not entry level actually. The Uni-branded crk. ain't bad either. Just that stuff from the 80's hits a narrow audience. Piece by piece, A LaCarte may work better.. if you feel that it's worth the extra back 'n' forth.
