Congrats to the whole postal team, outstanding job...

I suppose they all decided to celebrate with the yellow trimed jerseys!

A moment in history for sure. I can remember telling a group of riders that we would probably never see five in a row again after Indurian. Little did we all know that our wait was not to be too long and then, 5+1. Unbelievable.

that is nice to hear, but it is also a spoiler. I woke up late and have to catch the rebroadcast.

Okay, unless he crashed it was pretty much assured, but I would have liked to see it before knowing the result.

Why, in the name of all that is sacred, would you go into the forum "Bike Forums > Road Cycling > Tour de France 04" if you don't want to see results?

Take responsibility for your own lack of commonsense instead of trying to blame others.

Personally, I'm glad he won...despite the sad-sacks, wanna-be's, sore loosers and boo-er's in the crowd.
That is so 90's... i.e., find fault an achiever, who ... O by the way ... actually deserved to win.

NOBODY "deserves" to win. It is and should always remain the strongest who wins.

i think we'll definitly see more 5+ time winners of the tour, there seems to be fewer years between them now days. hinault, indurain and armstrong came pretty close together.
