I just moved my office from home to an office environment. Prior to the move I could send/receive email just fine. After the move I can't send email. I can receive them but I cannot send them. I am now on a different ISP than I was before (DSL now, cable before). When I try to send email I get the following error msg:
An unknown error was returned from the SMTP server. Account: Rob P., Server: 'SMTP.Rob P.'s provider.net', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '571 imp09 smtp.Rob P.'s provider.net NzYuMTkzLjkxLjI1MA== You must connect from Provider IP space. E1110', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): Yes, Server Error: 571, Error Number: 0x800CCC61
I have checked the tools/accounts/properties/servers tab to be sure that I have the authentication/settings checked and that the authentication and password is correct. I checked the advanced tab to be sure that the SSL boxes are checked. This is where I think I have a problem. When I check the box for outgoing mail nothing changes and the port stays 25. When I check the box for incoming mail the port changes from 110 to 995. When I uncheck the box the port changes back to 110.
What is the problem and how do I fix it?
