Classic & Vintage - My latest ride - 1985 Marinoni Special

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Here's my latest ride that will be displacing my much loved Bianchi:

There are a couple of other pics here (http://s851.photobucket.com/albums/ab73/Jaeger63/).
I've always wanted one of these bikes.

NICE !! Fine example of early '80s
After checking with Cycles Marinoni, apparently the colour of this bike was originally metallic pink and it was equipped with Campagnolo Victory components.
It appears to have been back for a repaint and had many components upgraded to Record and Nuovo Record.
I have to say after riding with a Suntour Cyclone MK-II drivetrain I'm not exactly overwhelmed with these Campy bits. Shifting certainly seems less precise, requiring a little overshifting and then trimming back to get it to run quietly. I'm sure I'll get used to it, but the thought of moving the Suntour components over to the Marinoni has crossed my mind.
