Hallo people!!!
I bought my first road bike yesturday. Its a Trek 1200. I am wery happy with the bike and performance, but i have a problem with the seat. The stock seat that came with the bike is killing my beheind and i need a recomendation on a more confortable seat for my bike.
I have done about 11 miles today and my butt is already hearting. I am planing to do a 40 mile ride this Sunday with my local club and i need somthing more confortable to sit on.
Thank you.

How much time have you cycled before you got this road bike? Your butt will take some time to get used to any seat. You also must be sure it's adjusted properly - both front to rear and the tilt. Not that it helps much, but I personally use a Terry Fly (really helped me with numbness) & my wife uses a Fizik Aliante.

I havent been on a bike in years. But the last bike i had was a MTB and it had a more confortable seat. I guess i will just have to get used to the road bike seat. I will look in the manual book to see if it is adjusted properly and make sure it is set up the way its supost too.

if you just bought the bike, insist that the shop give you atleast a basic fitting. They really should've offered. But yeah, I rode the OEM saddle for ~1200 miles and never got comfortable. I bought a Terry Fly also and really like it. I think just about any name brand saddle over $50 should be significantly better than an OEM. If your shop allows it, buy a few saddle and try each of 'em out... what works for others might not work for you.
