I'm trying to adjust a Campy Valentino front derailleur.

There are two screws on this thing: one on the side and one mounted vertically with a spring.

What are these screws equivalent to in modern derailleurs?

I want to set the limit as to how far the piston will extend.

Thanks!

PS: I have my own reasons for using this derailleur :)

If I remember from when I did this last year.....
The vertical screw adjusts the outward travel and the inward travel is adjusted by the screw holding the cage on the "rod", the whole thing slides in or out as needed. It maybe the opposite, it's been awhile - I don't like futzing with it.
The screw on the side holds the pivot arm that pushes the rod, you don't want to adjust that one.
