in central park.

109.52 miles, actually.

this includes the ~12 mile round trip i take to get to the park.

16 laps of the ~6 mile course later....

nice!
how long did it take?

6 hours 22.

pretty good time, considering the congestion in the park and the 12 miles to and from home, which are pretty slow going.

i only set out to do around 50, but when i had reached that point, i decided i was feeling good, stopped for a sandwich and coke, had a nice sit in the grass looking at girls, and then hit the road again.

I'm not passing judgement here, but wasnt the coke counter-productive to your cause?

it's not the best thing, i'm sure, but i've found that a coke makes for a good kick in the ass when you're feeling depleted and need some quick carbs, sugars and caffeine in you...

16 laps around CP???? I do 3 around Prospect and I've had enough. Is it 6 miles around?

16 lap is quite boring i would guess. :)

many laps around either park get a little monotonous, but CP beats PP for the added distance, hills and fewer kids running across the road.
