I always hear "keep above 80". I usually tend to be somewhere between 90-96.

Is this hurting me at all?

If you want a smoother cadence, spend some rides constantly undergeared and think about pedaling circles. This will raise the cadence at which you pedal comfortably.

There is no maximum recommended value for cadence.

keep it below 240. You don't want to go above that...actually, you might want to try it just once to see what happens, but trust me, it won't be pretty.

I dial it up to 400W while spinning 700 rpm.
