My wife's 12 y o daughter competes in the asian artistic/gymnastic cycling comps in Hong Kong and they are coming to UK in Dec to be with me and I was wanting to get a bike for her to carry on practicing and maybe develope an interst in UK for others

The governing body of the sport is also the UCI
There are clubs in Switzerland and Germany.

Yep, doing a search in German (and Swiss-German if their word is different) would be the way to go. I got a deal on a hub dynamo "Nabendynamo" that way last year. Try and find out what the Dutch and Flemish words for it are as well, maybe Google will turn something up there also. This can be hard using translation software as "artistic cycling" is an idiom and other languages' word for it may not be a direct translation of "artistic cycling", but it's not impossible. For example, you cannot find out what the Italian for "bike shop" is with simple web-based translation software as they will just spit out something that is nonsense to a fluent Italian speaker, equivalent to " to shop bicycle". But I got it by googling "bike shop Rome" to locate a shop with an English website (Rome is a big city and more likely to have shops with a big enough budget for English websites), and then going to their Italian page.

I can say almost for sure that none of the major UK bike websites will have an artistic cycling bike, as the sport is just not popular here. Hopefully the websites you find have English translations, otherwise you can scrape by with Babelfish or google translation. You can always try emailing them in English; they will likely have a random English speaking staffer around to answer your questions.

Went to some events as a kid. Amazing the skills that these riders have.
