I can't find anyone with the issue. Does any one have the Dec07/Jan08 issue? I'm looking for a specific quote and Google searches are not offering it up.

Thanks Alfster, but National Geographic Adventure Mag is not the same National Geographic. I tried to insert the adventure part in the your url but no luck. I've tried all the search methods I know. The article I'm interested in is an award winning (Lowell Thomas Bronze)essay called "Running Away" by Sebastian Junger, supposedly in the Dec 07/Jan08 special annual issue. I think I even found that it's on page 181 but still can't bring up a copy. I've tried my local library, no luck. I can probably order a back issue but I'm just looking for one quote that I remember reading at a laundramat while on a cross country bicycle trip this past summer.

Looks like they only allow you to go back to the 2006 archive and older. It does allow you to order back-issues, however I agree it's hard to justify for one quote.
