I'm trying to take off my shimano gs 100 brake levers on my hybrid, but I don't know how to loosen them...

Look at the lever from underneath. There should be a hex screw there that clamps the lever.

Is that those plastic coated levers and clamps? Pull the lever back and look between the lever and the clamp, the screw may be in there IIRC. Kind of like a road lever.

Thanks, norwood. Yeah, they are the old plastic coated ones. I didn't have the cable loose enough to see the screw back in there. Taken care of now. Thanks again.
