I've got a Rigida rim here that says "Super Chromix", "Chromage" on it and has a "10" stamped along with an "88" in a diamond. I bought it as a stopgap for $5 years ago for a Raleigh. I take it that it's chrome plated steel (thought "chromage" was French for "chrome plating"). Does the 10 and the diamond "88" mean it's an October 1988 manufacture, or is that something else? Does anyone have any information on these rims? I'm just curious-- it actually gave decent service and was surprisingly light for a steel endrick.
