Sports Basement Walnut Creek is having one sometime this month... I don't expect a big show though.

Buying, maybe! Selling? I don't have anything to sell, and what I do have is so crappy that no one would buy it!

Not a swap meet but UC Davis TAPS is having their bi-yearly bike auction this Saturday Oct. 10 at 8:00am in the West Entry Parking Structure. They auction off confiscated and abandoned bikes. There's usually bikes numbering in the hundreds at these things.

I got there at 12, and was the only attendee for about 15-20 minutes until the first "vendor" showed up. Maybe 5 or 6 sellers total by 1:30 when I finally left.
Mostly junk or store left-overs, but there were two decent deals I saw - a Park stand for $60, and a little red 48cm fixed/ss Schwinn Traveler III for $100. I'd have bought that, but A) there was a cute little girl just squealing with delight as she made calls trying to scrounge up the cash, and B) the owner had ground off the RD hanger and cable guides. Doof.
I did managed to get a set of Pedro tire levers for $1, and a 700c rear flip/flop wheel and road bars for $20. Free donuts and coffee, too.

Pedros are my favorite levers :thumb: Are you building a fixed gear bike?

Sadly I had to babysit though I could've brought the baby to the swap meet. Didn't think about it.

Maybe.... dunno. Just couldn't resist a nice wheel for $15. Besides, I drove all the way out there - I had to buy something. :)
