Just had the call from the bike store to say a B-Spoke Brompton has arrived for my Sister... she will be coming over from Germany in 2 weeks and taking the bike back with her.

She tried my B-Spoke Raw Lacquer Titanium 2 speed S-Type and my Dad’s B-Spoke Yellow & Black M-Type last time she was over. Originally she wanted a Pink Brompton but she has now gone for a Yellow & Black M-Type as then her German Husband can ride it as well.

She has a folding bike that she has had for about 18 months but she now wants to upgrade .........

Hopefully I’ll be back riding again* by the time she arrives and we can go for a ride together and get a few group shots of the bikes.:thumb:

*Not able to ride at the moment after breaking my collar bone due to a motorcycle accident. :(

Well Anita now has her new Brompton :)

I fitted the carrier block (for the front C-bag) and the lighting kit for her and showed how to fold / unfold the bike* which she has now got the hang of and is planning her first ride today.:thumb:

It is interesting to see the difference in colour from the 2008 and 2009 bikes, they are both yellow but one is gloss while the other is a matt finish.

*I was hoping by now(5 weeks on) my collar bone would be healing nicely but it is still as painful as ever (if there is no improvement over the next few weeks they might had to plate it). Even just unfolding the Brompton with my left hand proved to me that I’m a long way off riding my bikes again. Getting really fed up now, surrounded by these nice bikes and can’t ride any of them.:cry::(

Still might try for a group shot tomorrow if it not raining.
