I rode a hybird all last year . 20 to 30 miles a day. I purchased a entry level road bike and Ive ridden between 40 and 50 miles a day since may . People tell me Im cruising at around 30 MPH . Im using cars to draft and I have to be going 30 to get to the position to be able to draft off a car . Ive lost 35 pounds and have little if anymore body fat . I need to take the next step . I want to comppete . Some of you know that Im have an invisable disabilty .ie epilepsy . So , I no longer work . Im training twice a day on my road bike . Whats the next step ? I cant travel much , I have no licence . All I do is troll the street for races , no bikers ? No problem , Ill race a car . But , I feel I have to compete . I cant take a day off . Biking is my mood med . Im addicted . I think I can compete with my age group and dominate at this level . I never get out of breath and the only pain is when I go anerobic . I do this twice a week on my 25 mile loops . Ill sprint up hill totally insane with a extremely high cadence . Thats the only day Im sore .
Jar:)
ps . I go to the pool and women come up to me and say , " hey , I know you , your the bike man" :) Kids are buying road bikes now in my nieghborhood . They ask me questions and stuff . Im glad , cause before I biked , all I did was sit around playing X-Box and playstation .
