A friend of mine (from another forum) was one of the first pilots who helped test this product.

Would be more fun if the target was a house full of popcorn.

(did anyone see Real Genius? (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0089886/))

Can you mount it on a shark's head?

That's all I ask for, sharks with friggin' lasers on their heads!

I read a while ago they had a working prototype but it was stationary. Good to see progress. I wonder what type of wattage they're pumping through it.

Wow, a million-dollar program that works 3x better than a magnifying glass on a sunny day.

None of this tiny stuff. I want to see the 747-based Airborne Laser work.

It is mounted on a transport plane, I am guessing a lot.

Saw that. M'eh. When they can do this (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Satellite_Orbital_Laser), give me a call.
