Clydesdales/Athenas (200+ lb / 91+ kg) - Website that lists local bike events?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I live in Atlanta, GA and am having a hard time finding local bike events. Whether it just be fellow cyclists getting together for a ride or a ride for a cause, I'm interested in finding what's available in my area. Is there such a website?
Thanks!

That's all the events that RoadID sponsors. They sponsor lots of events.
Here's a few I found w/ google:
http://atlantacycling.com/page.cfm?pageID=37 (http://atlantacycling.com/page.cfm?pageID=37)
http://www.atlantabike.org/ (http://www.atlantabike.org/)
http://www.sadlebred.com/atlroadrides.html (http://www.sadlebred.com/atlroadrides.html)
Google bike rides Atlanta and you'll find quite a few more...
enjoy!

I don't know how close it is to you but check out Conte's in Conyers.
They could steer you to some group rides.

I find a lot of my events on active.com. You can sort by geographic area and type of event (they cover more than just cycling).
