I remember an absolute hooligan, albeit an articulate one, who, back in the '50's used to say, "profanity is the crutch of the crippled conversationalist and, Lady, I ain't no cripple."
I have had a lot of laughs about that over the years.

Why is "ain't" a contraction of no words? Glad you got the goodie in the sig.

Where are you at?? I recently got rid of my Hybrid and have a set of Bontrager Racelight Hardcase (kevlars) 700 x 28's with 50 miles on them that I'm trying to get rid of. I also have 3 tubes. Sorry, not trying to push these on you, but they are simply sitting around.

Why isn't bike shop an option?
I prefer to buy stuff from one of the LBSes in my area. Help support local economy and all.
But yeah, there's tons of places online to buy tires. Any of the online bicycle shops.

When I can buy my choice of tires ($70 MSRP) from my LBS, which I paid $26 - $34 online, I will support the local economy....
Tooooooo much price diffference to ignore the i-net.
Niagara, and watch for sales - and quickly snap up what you might need.....

Then your LBS sucks.
Fortunately, there's enough competition in Denver to keep prices low. I purchased my Armadillos for about the same price as I find online. Plus there's the instant satisfaction that I get to ride home with them over my shoulder.

I checked several, and all had to order (at MSRP.) I checked 7 shops within 10-15 miles from my house. All were the same....
I keep new spares in the basement, so instant gratification is really "more instant" at my house....
I had a set of 28's Bontrager Race Lite Hard Case that lasted close to 3K and I had 1 flat on them. Not the smoothest riding tires on the market, but they did good and I put the 23's on my road bike and put a set of 25's on my Hybrid.

Yeah, I generally buy my Armadillo's online. Few of the Specialized dealers around
here carry the ones I want, and ordering from them seems to take longer than
buying them online, which generally only takes a few days. (They ship from UT)

My LBS is not competitive on tire pricing either.
