Just got the Fall '09 issue of Recumbent & Tandem Magazine via US mail.
This is one of the few publications that features stuff on/for tandems and has some great articles!
A review on the Calfee bamboo tandem and the Rans Seavo recumbent 2-seater; article by friend Jay Hardcastle "First Rides, Part II"; a new product called Crank Clockers. . . no not about clocks but about inexpensive crank shorteners. Also kidz on tandem doing a century . . . and more.
Of course we need to haul around our twicers and there's a couple articles on receiver hitches.
Looking to buy a used tandem? Check out the classified section in the back of this issue with 14 tandems listed for sale including road, off-road and 'bents + even a pair of Kettwiesel (German) recumbent trikes that can easily be reconfigured into a tandem trike. Prices range from an affordable $800 and up to near-$6,000.
Check out the website at www.rtrmag.com for more info.

That is great that R&TR is featuring tandems...you can't find tandem articles anywhere else!

John Axen (on the trike) is one of R&TR main 'bent test gurus.
It's up to us odd riders (bents/tandems) to support the folks that support our oddities!
Disclosure: we are occasional contributors to R&TR.

I picked up an issue while traveling for work in January of this year. Stopped in at Richardson Bike Mart in Dallas while goofing off on my idle weekend.

Found that back issue a few weeks ago and told the bill payer this should get delivered. The issue mentioned arrived last week. Neat little publication.

Velo Vision (http://www.velovision.co.uk), based in the UK, also covers tandems, plus all other types of bikes that are not covered well by other magazines (recumbents, utility bikes, hub gears, etc.). You can buy an online subscription, which gives you online access to the latest editions plus the archive.

Chris:
Thanks for the VeloVision link.
Looks like this UK publication covers many of us odd-bike riders!
