Hi everyone.
I have been browsing this forum for a while and I've now got a question about a road bike purchase. Up until this point I've been stricly a mountain biker but I've wanted to get a road bike for quite some time.
Of course I was all pumped after watch the Tour de France so today I bid on this bike (Yes, I realize that this was probably the worst day to try to buy a bike for a good price, but this seemed like a potential good deal):
Fuji Professional (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=7298&item=3689493126&rd=1)
I didn't bid high enough to meet the reserve price, but the seller e-mailed me afterwards and offered to sell it to me for around $450 + shipping. I'm thinking this is a good offer, but I cannot figure out what year the bike is. I know it is <= a 1999, but I cannot find any pictures before 2000 models. I just want to make sure I'm not buying a 1984 bike or something (I'm a complete newbie in the road biking arena). The components listed seemed nice, so I thought it was a no brainer but I figured i would query the experts here to see if they had any input.
Thanks a lot for your help,
RW
